This guy from Glock Talk made up a dandy Excel spreadsheet to calculate reloading costs and payback calculations.
1) Calculates reloading costs
2) Calculates payback period on reloading equipment.
3) Generates two sizes of box labels with lots of detail.
4) Provides for miscellaneous weight and length calculations.
5) Calculates energy values

And here's a link to the Glock Talk forum where it was found.

After some playing with this thing, the cost isn't so bad for the smaller calibers, however with big game rounds it seems to escelate the cost per round to well above factory ammo.
also note im using preferred components and volume is down for the big game rounds.
but for yotes and prairie chickens, reloading is by far the best way to go.
