Now that I am here in Missouri after our move from California I am trying to decide how to set up my reloading bench. I've got lots of space to build a bench where I want to set up two presses for metallic cartridges and 2 shotgun presses. I've considered building one long bench, something shaped liked an "L" in a corner and even two benches of equal length parallel to one another.
The first two would likely be the best choice as I would be securing it to an exterior wall to help make it more secure. Any suggestions or words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Built my out of 4x4 post. Way over built but it is very strong. I also built a work bench where I use to do my reloading. This was also built out of 4x4s and tied into the wall studs. Had a metal top fabricated for it. I am not much of a carpenter just started to build one step at a time. Just make sure that you don't build the top to high. If your like me I am sitting down when I reload. So get your height set. This is the reloading bench I built for my shop. I put a Formica top on it. See photo.

I like the idea of using 4x4's. And it appears the previous owners of this house left a few of them in a pile of lumber. I'm thinking some 3/4 inch plywood for the top. After I get a chair I'll figure out how high to build it off the ground. Any recommendations on how wide?
