Yes, I finally made it to Missouri with the family and firearms. The rest of the house hold goods are supposed to be here today, but this snow may delay things a bit. My wife got to see the house for the first time and has repeatedly said the pictures don't do it justice. So I guess I have done well!


Two days ago I went in to pick up my hunting license after seeing several rabbits and red squirrels here on the property. Once we get our house organized a little (and my knives and cutting boards are unpacked) I will try to get out and do a little hunting. I've not started knocking on doors for coyotes but it's some great looking country.

Never did like the taste of squirrel much, but I will eat the rabbit!

I am setting out a trail camera on a pile of corn today so hopefully I will have pictures of local critters soon.

Life is good! I received my MO drivers license today so I can now buy firearms locally.
